Our Mission
We build better leaders by helping technically brilliant professionals become confident, capable and compassionate. We do this by blending coaching psychology with practical, purpose-aligned development to turn self-understanding into measurable impact.

We exist to deliver measurable impact with pre- and post-assessments and experience tracking through industry-leading NPS scores. We work sustainably using low carbon travel options, digital-first materials and are proud members of the Climate Coaching Alliance (CCA). Above all, we create inclusive, psychologically safe spaces so everyone can learn and lead better.
Meet John
John Tattersall has over 35 years business and people experience, having started his career in Commercial Financial Services. For over twelve years John’s value based coaching has helped people use their values as a foundation to their self development.
John facilitates personal development to create more personal choices and better decision making capability, helping clients achieve their goals and increase their self confidence. John is a passionate golfer, football fan, runner and mountain biker.
Meet Rachael
Rachael Sullivan spent 15 years carving out a career in marketing communications.. Her last role role was learning and development manager for the north's largest advertising agency, developing and delivering internal leadership development programmes.
Rachael’s coaching ethos focuses on building self awareness, self-insight and perspective taking capability. Rachael has a Masters Degree in Coaching Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Marketing, is Hogan Assessment certified and has completed an Introduction to Transactional Analysis - TA 101.

Building Brilliant Leaders at the University of Hull
The University of Hull partnered with Scaffold Coaching to develop over 100 middle-managers through a bespoke 18-month Building Brilliant Leaders programme—during a period of significant restructuring and low morale. The aim: to build confident, resilient, and values-driven leaders who could navigate complexity with courage and clarity.
